Exabeam Boosts AI Detection, Adds Anthropic Claude Support

Exabeam is expanding its security platform, doubling its AI detection coverage to 90 and adding support for Anthropic's Claude. This update helps security teams detect and investigate artificial intelligence agents. Here's the thing: AI agents now access systems and act on behalf of users at machine speed. This can make risky activity hard to spot because it often looks legitimate. The new detections flag unusual interactions between people and AI agents, along with unauthorized autonomous activity. This includes suspicious prompt behavior and abnormal consumption patterns. Exabeam already monitors many AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft's Copilot. The company also extended its Nova AI capabilities with a new Rules Creator that lets engineers build and tune rules using natural language. A new early-access feature, Nova Related Cases, ties together related security incidents. Exabeam also released Observra, an open-source library that captures AI agent activity and routes it to any security operations platform. This matters because organizations are rapidly moving to autonomous AI agents, and security teams need visibility into how these agents behave and interact.
