Fiserv's agentOS: AI for Banking Operations & Efficiency

Fiserv has launched agentOS, an operating system for agentic AI in banking. This system helps financial institutions use, manage, and expand AI agents across their banking operations. Here's the thing: Six financial institutions have partnered with Fiserv to develop agentOS, and two are already using agents in a beta phase. What's interesting is that agentOS is built to work across Fiserv’s existing platforms, including core banking, payments, and servicing. The system will include an agent marketplace, allowing banks to access Fiserv-built agents, create their own, or deploy third-party agents. This marketplace will initially offer four Fiserv-built agents and nine from third parties, covering tasks like risk management and regulatory reporting. The bottom line: agentOS is supported by collaborations with OpenAI and Amazon Web Services. This aims to bring advanced AI capabilities to financial institutions on a large scale, which could significantly change how they operate.
