Sami answers fan questions in real time, covering topics from current lineups to match schedules and tournament tables. This technology was developed with Theta Network, a cloud infrastructure provider. Theta Labs, the head of Theta Labs, stated they created a product that seamlessly fits into the community. Sami operates on the distributed GPU platform Theta EdgeCloud, which is tied to the Theta Network blockchain. This platform uses decentralized power to process complex requests. Theta EdgeCloud combines private edge nodes with capacities from providers like Google Cloud, with a total power exceeding 80 petaflops. The system uses NVIDIA A100 or H100 for difficult tasks and RTX 3090/4090 graphics cards for regular fan questions. Theta Network acts as the global coordinator, using blockchain for a transparent economy where nodes are rewarded for providing their GPUs. This innovation is changing how esports organizations engage with their fans.
