G42 Joins NVIDIA's Open Secure AI Alliance: Cybersecurity Boost

G42 has joined Nvidia’s Open Secure AI Alliance. This move reinforces industry support for open-weight and open-source AI models. The goal is to strengthen cyber security, AI sovereignty, and collaborative defense. What's interesting is that this alliance now includes at least 37 organizations. Members include IBM, Microsoft, Hugging Face, Salesforce, and SpaceX. The alliance develops open techniques, tools, and research to safeguard AI systems. Nvidia says the alliance was partly inspired by a recent cyber-security incident involving Hugging Face. In that case, closed AI tools were not suitable for forensic analysis, but an open-weight model was used successfully.
