Gemini: Build AI Agents on Your Phone Soon

Gemini might soon allow anyone to create AI agents directly from their Android phone. Google appears to be testing this capability in the latest version of its Android app. Currently, creating and managing AI agents is limited to Google Workspace and Enterprise users on the web. However, a new option for "New agent" has been spotted in the mobile version of the Google app, which serves as a gateway to Gemini. Initially, users may be able to choose from five pre-drafted templates. These include agents for family coordination, tutoring, group organizing, marketing, and managing finances. These agents are designed to help with tasks like planning household chores, assisting with study topics, managing gatherings, creating social media posts, and tracking spending. This potential expansion means more people could access and utilize personalized AI assistance on their mobile devices.
