Gemini Intelligence: Android's AI Agent Redefines Mobile

Google is redefining Android with the announcement of Gemini Intelligence. This new suite of AI features moves Gemini beyond answering questions to actually operating your phone. It rolls out this summer, starting with the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10. This is a major change to Android's core experience. Gemini Intelligence will allow app automation, letting Gemini navigate your phone to complete tasks like booking workouts or ordering groceries. Chrome for Android also gets auto-browse for routine web tasks. Gboard adds Rambler, a voice dictation tool that cleans up speech into clear text. You can also describe a widget in plain language, and Android will build it for you. A privacy dashboard update will show which apps Gemini interacted with. This means your phone can now operate for you, rather than just being a tool you operate.
