Google says Spark can begin tasks like scheduling apartment viewings or researching and booking flights while you remain signed in. Previously, Spark could browse the web in other ways, but now it connects directly to Chrome on your device. After you grant access, you'll see an indicator in the top bar as the agent works. What's interesting is that Google's examples are practical. Spark can research flights and start a booking or schedule viewings for apartments you've already saved. However, Spark still needs you for money, as it hands payment steps back for review instead of completing purchases on its own. The Chrome integration is rolling out first in the U.S., with plans for more regions. Google AI Pro subscribers in over 160 additional countries can now use Spark for daily task automation. This means Spark is expanding beyond its initial U.S. experiment.
