Gemini Spark: Google's New AI Agent for Task Automation

Google is rolling out a new AI agent called Gemini Spark. This agent is designed for personal task automation and runs continuously in the cloud. What's interesting is that Gemini Spark manages emails, calendars, and documents across Google's ecosystem. It operates 24/7, even when devices are off. The tool was announced at Google I/O and represents a move beyond traditional chatbots. Gemini Spark uses Gemini 3.5 Flash and Google's Antigravity platform. It can summarize email threads, prioritize to-do lists, draft documents, and manage recurring tasks. Google calls this a shift to "agentic systems" where AI proactively executes tasks. Access is currently limited to trusted testers. Broader availability is planned for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US who are 18 or older, and select enterprise users.
