GitHub Copilot App Metrics Expanded: Track User Activity

GitHub Copilot app usage metrics are now significantly expanded across report rollups. This means individual app activity is now attributed to users in enterprise and organization reports. What's new is that Copilot app coding activity is broken out in feature, model, and language rollups. This is alongside other Copilot surfaces. The system now tracks if a user was active in the Copilot app on a given day. It also reports session count, request count, prompt count, and token usage breakdowns for each user. Top-level code generation, code acceptance, lines added, and lines deleted totals now include Copilot app activity. Importantly, daily active users now count those who were only active in the Copilot app. The bottom line is that you can now identify Copilot app adopters and measure the code the app generates, allowing for direct comparison with other Copilot surfaces.
