GitHub Copilot for JetBrains: Enhanced Telemetry & Models

GitHub Copilot for JetBrains now offers improved OpenTelemetry configuration and model management. This update provides more control and clarity for users. You can now connect MCP servers and custom agents within Claude agent flows. The update also allows for tuning telemetry and token settings for advanced scenarios. Users will find a cleaner chat and model-selection experience. Specifically, OpenTelemetry export settings are now configurable for agent workflows. This helps align plugin behavior with an organization's observability requirements. You can also set default token limits for custom endpoints and disable or enable built-in Copilot models. This helps with cost control and model governance. Copilot CLI sessions now support forks and include the `/rubber-duck` command. For enterprise users, the number of AI credits consumed is now displayed when a user-level budget isn't configured. These enhancements aim to make workflows more efficient and customizable for users.
