GitHub Copilot: .NET App Upgrade Canvas & Live View

GitHub Copilot now features an interactive upgrade canvas for modernizing .NET applications. This canvas provides a live view of the upgrade agent's workflow. What's interesting is that developers can now follow, review, and guide the agent's actions as it assesses, plans, and executes .NET upgrades. The agent starts by evaluating the application, checking things like the .NET version and NuGet packages, and identifying breaking API changes. From there, it creates a structured upgrade plan and breaks it into actionable tasks. This interactive canvas is available within the GitHub Copilot app. The upgrade feature is also accessible directly in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code via an extension, and through the GitHub Copilot CLI with a plugin. This means developers can more easily oversee and manage their .NET application modernizations.
