Glassnode: AI Agents Get On-Chain Data via x402 Payments

Glassnode's data catalog now supports x402, an open payment standard. This means AI agents can access professional on-chain data without API keys, subscriptions, or sign-ups. Here's the thing: When an AI agent requests data from a paid endpoint, the server provides a price. The agent then pays this price in USDC and receives the data. For example, one metric costs five cents. This allows anyone with an AI agent and some USDC to pull Glassnode Studio data by simply asking for it. What's interesting is that you can use Coinbase for Agents if you have a Coinbase account. This lets your agent pay in USDC directly from your balance. Alternatively, if you don't have a Coinbase account, Base MCP allows payment from a free on-chain wallet. The bottom line is that this system simplifies data access for AI agents, making it easier to integrate complex data into conversations and analysis.
