Google Gemini Spark for Mac: Ultra Subscribers Only

Google has launched Gemini Spark for macOS, but it's only for Google AI Ultra subscribers. This premium subscription costs $99.99 per month. The new Mac version is in beta and currently limited to users aged 18 and over in the United States. Gemini Spark can now automate tasks on your desktop, like organizing PDFs or building spreadsheets from local files. It also connects to Google Workspace applications. Google emphasizes that Spark only accesses files you explicitly give it permission to use. A future update will allow users to initiate tasks remotely from their phone to their Mac. Additionally, Spark now connects to five more third-party services, including Google Tasks and Google Keep. This means advanced AI capabilities are becoming available, but at a significant cost.
