GRC AI Tools Not Ready: 86% Organizations Agree

A new report reveals that most organizations believe many AI tools for governance, risk, and compliance, or GRC, are not ready for enterprise use. This comes as 86% of teams agree with this assessment. What's interesting is that 87% of IT and security professionals admit they lack full visibility into the AI tools active within their organization. This lack of oversight creates significant risks. In fact, 71% of organizations report that an AI tool used for GRC has led to a failed audit or lapsed regulatory standard at least once. The report also highlights that 83% of organizations are not fully prepared for the upcoming wave of AI integration. As a result, three-quarters are discontinuing underperforming AI tools faster than before, with over half reverting to manual processes when issues arise. The bottom line is that many organizations are struggling to effectively manage and integrate AI into their GRC strategies.
