Harness AI Agents: Machine-Speed Vulnerability Response

Harness has launched new AI agents designed to help security teams respond to vulnerabilities at machine speed. This comes as AI models are enabling attackers to find and exploit vulnerabilities much faster, sometimes in as little as six hours after disclosure. The new capabilities include AI SAST for scanning, agentic triage and remediation, a dedicated Zero-Day Agent, and virtual patching. These tools aim to help teams scan, prioritize, and fix issues without delays. One key aspect is the Triage Agent, which automatically prioritizes exploitable findings. The Remediation Agent can even write and validate a fix, then open a pull request for review. What's interesting is that these agents cover every stage of a vulnerability's lifecycle, from discovery to production shielding. This approach helps ensure that no single slow step holds up the entire security chain.
