Hermes Desktop: AI Agent for Windows, Mac, Linux

Nous Research has released Hermes Desktop, an open-source AI agent app. This new desktop app is now available as a public preview for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Here's the thing: Hermes Desktop runs across many platforms, including Telegram, Discord, Slack, and WhatsApp. It features persistent memory for projects and can plan tasks using natural language. What's interesting is Hermes can delegate to sub-agents with their own terminals and Python scripts. It can also search the web, generate images, and read text aloud. Users can choose from five backends for execution. Through the Nous Portal, over 300 AI models are accessible with free and paid plans. This tool could change how people interact with AI across their devices.
