HKGAI V3: Hong Kong unveils advanced homegrown AI model

Hong Kong has unveiled the latest version of its homegrown large language model, HKGAI V3. This update is a major step in building AI tools specifically for the city's industries and linguistic context. Developed by the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center, the new model offers improved operating efficiency and agent performance. Its token compression efficiency has increased more than tenfold, and uninterrupted agent runtime is nearly a hundred times better than the previous version. The HKGAI V3's Agent Workshop, a core platform for the city's first "super agent," can run continuously for up to 28 hours in a single session. Developers state the model is infused with Hong Kong's "cultural DNA," allowing it to interpret inputs and express ideas that better reflect local users' habits. This advancement means Hong Kong is moving towards the forefront of global technological innovation in AI. It aims to provide higher-quality, culturally attuned AI agent services for users.
