HPE Enhances AI with Nvidia Blackwell & Confidential Computing

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is enhancing its AI platforms with new Nvidia-based features. These updates are focused on HPE's AI Factory and Private Cloud AI platforms. Here's the thing: The AI Factory platforms will now have immediate access to Nvidia's RTX Pro Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, Spectrum-X Ethernet, BlueField-3 DPUs, and ConnectX-8 SuperNICs. What's interesting is the integration of Nvidia’s Confidential Computing service through HPE Services. This service protects AI models and private data during execution using cryptographic attestation and encryption. HPE's Private Cloud AI is also getting updates. It will support secure local agent registration, allowing customers to approve AI models that match governance and security policies. It will also gain insight from HPE’s Alletra Storage MP X1000 to apply metadata and governance policies for AI applications. The platform will also feature a new unified model gateway for governed frontier model access and active workload prioritization. The Private Cloud AI offering will also support Nvidia’s Agent Toolkit and NemoClaw later this year. Next year, it will be available on the ProLiant Compute DL394 Gen12 hardware, running Nvidia’s Vera CPU. These updates aim to accelerate enterprise returns on AI investments.
