IBM Expands AI Security: Project Glasswing & Threat Response

IBM is collaborating with other companies to identify software vulnerabilities and contribute patches to open-source projects. One key offering is IBM Concert. It uses AI to unify application, infrastructure, and network signals into a single view for threat response. IBM Concert Secure Coder also extends security into developers' environments, identifying vulnerabilities and generating code remediations. IBM Consulting is helping customers with AI-driven risks, and IBM Autonomous Security offers machine-speed detection and response. IBM and Red Hat are also working to manage risks from unsupported open-source software by contributing fixes. These efforts matter because they aim to strengthen security across the entire software ecosystem against advanced AI threats.
