Inductive Bio Wins 3rd AI Drug Discovery Benchmark

Inductive Bio has won its third consecutive AI drug discovery benchmark. Its Beacon AI model outperformed over 350 competitors in OpenADMET's PXR Blind Challenge. This challenge focused on predicting how a protein called pregnane X receptor, or PXR, detects foreign compounds. PXR induction can often go undetected until later stages of drug development. Inductive Bio also secured top honors in two other blind challenges. These wins establish a track record unmatched by other AI drug discovery companies. Over 750 competitors made nearly 10,000 submissions across the three challenges. Inductive Bio placed first in all of them, even against large pharmaceutical companies. This success suggests Inductive Bio's Beacon models are effective at solving tough drug discovery problems. The company's work on PXR is part of a broader focus on drug safety. This could help drug hunters predict how molecules will behave before extensive lab testing, saving significant resources.
