Infoblox IQ: AI Operations for Networking & Security

Infoblox has launched Infoblox IQ, a new agentic operations layer designed to power the next era of AI operations for networking and security. This new product combines agentic actions, conversational operations, and MCP integration. Infoblox IQ continuously analyzes DNS queries, DHCP leases, IP address assignments, device activity, and security events. This helps teams identify issues faster, automate investigations, and take action. The platform includes an agentic AI assistant and agentic AI actions, allowing users to understand network conditions and execute configuration changes through a natural language interface. The Infoblox Model Context Protocol server also makes Infoblox network, security, and asset intelligence available to third-party AI systems. This simplifies integration through an open protocol. In one customer deployment, Infoblox IQ reduced over 504,000 operational events to just 24 prioritized actions. This means investigations that once took 45 to 90 minutes were surfaced immediately with context. This development matters because it aims to reduce alert fatigue for security teams and proactively identify performance issues for network teams.
