Innovaccer & AWS: Scaling AI in Healthcare

Healthcare AI company Innovaccer has partnered with Amazon Web Services, or AWS, in a multi-year agreement. The goal is to move AI agents from pilot programs to full-scale use in healthcare. Here's the thing: This collaboration aims to tackle the significant administrative burden in healthcare, where nearly 40 cents of every hospital dollar goes to administrative costs before reaching patient care. Innovaccer will use specialized AWS cloud tools, like Amazon Bedrock and AWS HealthLake, to scale its AI operations. What's interesting is that health systems and payers can now buy Innovaccer solutions directly through AWS Marketplace. This means they can use their existing AWS cloud spending to speed up contracts from months to just days. This approach has already helped Community Care of North Carolina scale its value-based care analytics for over one million people. The bottom line: This partnership seeks to overcome barriers in deploying AI in healthcare, ultimately reducing waste and improving efficiency.
