This platform, called Drug Discovery and Development Benchmarks as a Service, or BaaS, offers a standardized way to test AI. What's interesting is that many current AI benchmarks have been criticized because the models might have already seen the test data. This new platform aims to fix that. It uses carefully cleaned real-world data and Insilico's own validated programs. The platform includes over 300 assessments in areas like disease biology and molecular prediction. It also tests an AI model's ability to support an entire drug discovery program, from finding compounds to nominating preclinical candidates. Organizations can receive a performance scorecard or publish their results on a public leaderboard. This matters because it helps ensure AI in drug discovery is genuinely effective in real-world scenarios.
