JFrog Sees AI Coding Boom Fueling Security Demand

AI-driven coding is significantly increasing the demand for JFrog's software management and security platform. The company reports that machine-generated software is expanding the volume of binaries organizations must manage and secure across their supply chains. JFrog saw 29% year-over-year total revenue growth and 53% cloud revenue growth. This growth is driven by security product adoption, higher usage, and broader platform expansion. The company's Enterprise+ customer base grew 39% and now accounts for 59% of its revenue. JFrog's CFO, Ed Grabscheid, explains that AI coding tools make code creation faster and less expensive, making binaries the more critical asset to manage and secure. He notes that machine-generated code is causing an "exponential" increase in the number of binaries customers need to handle. This trend highlights the growing importance of securing the software supply chain in an era of rapid AI-powered development.
