John Deere states that farmers own their data and control its use, a principle outlined in their Farmer Data Commitment. This commitment includes ten principles, such as not selling farm data and ensuring farmers receive clear value from it. Currently, an early access program for JD is available for agricultural use, with plans to expand to other sectors like turf and construction.
