Junkies Coder: Agentic AI to Modernize Enterprise Systems

Junkies Coder has launched a new practice focused on Agentic AI and Enterprise Modernization. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between companies' AI ambitions and their existing legacy systems. The Ahmedabad-based software engineering company will help enterprises reliably deploy AI agents. They plan to do this by modernizing the underlying legacy systems, cloud infrastructure, and delivery pipelines. The launch addresses a growing challenge. While companies are investing in AI, adoption remains difficult. Gartner reports that fewer than 5% of enterprise applications included task-specific AI agents in 2025. This number is expected to rise to 40% by the end of 2026. However, Gartner also predicts that over 40% of agentic AI projects will be abandoned by 2027. This is due to rising costs, unclear business value, and the complexity of integrating AI into existing environments. McKinsey finds that organizations with fragmented systems are 30% more likely to experience AI implementation delays. The new practice combines four disciplines: Agentic AI engineering, enterprise architecture and application modernization, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps and platform engineering. This integrated approach is designed to help businesses move AI from experiment to production more efficiently.
