KB Financial AI Competition: Winning Projects Applied to Work

KB Financial Group is holding a competition where employees use artificial intelligence to solve on-the-job challenges. Winning projects from this competition will be applied to actual work. The "2026 Group Integrated AI Agent Competition" was held on September 3rd in Seoul. A total of 116 teams and 316 people from seven affiliates participated. These included KB Financial Group, KB Kookmin Bank, and KB Securities. Finalists presented ideas for improving financial work with AI, such as security log analysis and customer feedback analysis. The grand prize went to KB Insurance's "Customer's KB" team for their "Customer Care AI Control Centre" proposal. This approach uses 20 AI agents to monitor counseling and compensation work. KB Financial plans to apply these winning projects and share successful AI agents across its affiliates. This initiative aims to create practical change by using technology to understand and solve real-world problems.
