Kohima Science College: AI Saksham Workshop Concludes

A three-day workshop and hackathon on "Agentic AI Saksham" recently concluded at Kohima Science College. The event, held from May 7th to 9th, aimed to introduce participants to new trends in Artificial Intelligence. Students, faculty, scholars, and resource persons actively participated. The program, in partnership with Capabl.in, provided hands-on exposure to practical AI tools. Sessions covered no-code website creation and developing AI agents using platforms like Google AI Studio and n8n. Joint Secretary Armstrong Pame from the Ministry of Education visited the workshop. He emphasized the growing importance of AI and encouraged students to create and use AI responsibly. Participants shared how the workshop improved their understanding of AI applications, like website development and AI agent creation. Projects included "Mindsync AI" for student mental wellness. The hackathon segment saw teams design and develop AI agents. Out of 26 teams, eight were shortlisted. The first prize went to "The Corollary." This event highlights the push for AI literacy and innovation in educational settings.
