Korea Joins Anthropic's Project Glasswing for Cybersecurity AI

Korea is joining Anthropic's cybersecurity initiative, Project Glasswing. This gives the country access to Anthropic's advanced AI model, Claude Mythos. What's interesting is that Project Glasswing is expanding to about 150 organizations across 15 countries. The Mythos model was unveiled in April and is designed to find software vulnerabilities. The Ministry of Science and ICT will participate through the Korea Internet & Security Agency, or KISA. KISA expects to get access to the Mythos Preview model and tools like Claude Security. Anthropic previously limited access to Mythos. This was due to concerns about potential misuse. However, early participants have already used Mythos to find over 10,000 high-severity or critical vulnerabilities in a short time. The bottom line is that this expansion aims to strengthen global cyber defenses against growing AI-driven threats.
