LangChain & NVIDIA NemoClaw: 10x Cheaper Enterprise AI Agents

LangChain has unveiled a new blueprint for AI agents called NemoClaw, developed with NVIDIA. This new system aims to cut the inference cost of enterprise AI agents by about tenfold. The NemoClaw blueprint combines LangChain's Deep Agents with NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Ultra model and OpenShell runtime. This allows businesses to own their agent memory, workflows, and data as proprietary intellectual property. In internal tests, this new system achieved a score of 0.86 at an inferred cost of $4.48. The next closest model cost $43.48, showing a significant cost reduction. LangChain says this makes large-scale AI deployments more financially practical. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang notes this blueprint helps create "super agents" using open models and LangChain, giving enterprises control and avoiding lock-in to closed AI systems. This development could make advanced AI more accessible and affordable for businesses.
