LG CNS Launches AIND: Agentic AI for Enterprise IT Dev

LG CNS has launched a new agentic AI platform called "DevOn Agentic AI Native Development," or AIND. This platform is designed to support the entire lifecycle of large-scale enterprise IT system construction and operations. AIND aims to overcome limitations of natural language-based AI coding by incorporating LG CNS's expertise into specialized AI agents. These agents collaborate to handle the full development process when users input requirements in natural language. For example, if a financial institution needs a new automatic transfer savings service, agents will interpret the request, design the system, and generate code. This allows users to focus on reviewing and approving results, significantly reducing development time. A key feature of AIND is its "Knowledge Foundation," an ontology-based database that structures enterprise IT information for AI systems. This allows AIND to learn and perform customized development for each client. Another feature is "Spec-Driven Development," where AI performs design, coding, and verification according to predefined specifications, aiming for consistent software quality and reduced errors. AIND also supports legacy modernization, converting older systems into modern architectures. It can automatically convert systems from languages like COBOL to Java, and update older Java-based systems. LG CNS is already using AIND's COBOL-to-Java functionality in projects at major financial institutions. This platform could significantly change how large-scale enterprise IT systems are developed and maintained.
