LG Electronics Launches ChatGPT App for Product Purchases

LG Electronics has launched a dedicated app within OpenAI's ChatGPT. This app allows users to access LGE.com product purchasing information and subscription benefits directly from the chatbot interface. What's interesting is that this "Apps in ChatGPT" feature lets users call and use external services right within the ChatGPT conversation. This service was first introduced in October last year and became available in South Korea earlier this year. To access the LG app, users search for "LGE.COM" in the Apps tab inside ChatGPT. After the initial launch, it can be accessed through the plus button next to the conversation window. The app provides immediate links to detailed product and promotional pages. The bottom line is that users can now get information on LG products and even general home appliance queries, all while staying within the ChatGPT conversation. This aims to create a more seamless customer experience.
