LG K-EXAONE 2.0: S. Korea's Largest AI Model (750B Params)

LG AI Research has launched K-EXAONE 2.0, South Korea's largest AI model to date. This foundation model boasts 750 billion parameters and is now available on Hugging Face. What's interesting is this new version is over three times larger than its predecessor. It also supports up to 256,000 tokens for context windows. LG says new technologies within the model can make text generation three to five times faster. The model scored an average of 70.1 across 24 benchmarks, an improvement of over 10% from the previous version. It showed particularly strong results in long-context and agent tests. K-EXAONE 2.0 now supports 10 languages, expanding its reach from six previously. This makes it the widest language coverage among AI models developed in South Korea.
