Lloyds: AI Frontier Suite Rolls Out with Microsoft E7

Lloyds Banking Group is significantly advancing its AI transformation through a new multi-year deal with Microsoft. The bank will roll out Microsoft 365 E7, known as the AI Frontier Suite, across its organization. This makes Lloyds one of the first UK banks to implement this technology at full enterprise scale. The agreement is designed to accelerate the deployment of agentic AI. It allows Lloyds to expand these capabilities within its existing security, identity, and governance infrastructure. This initiative is expected to lead to more streamlined, responsive, and tailored services for its 28 million customers. The new suite integrates Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Agent 365 into a unified platform. It also includes advanced security features. Lloyds is building a suite of additional AI agents for specific employee and customer journeys, powered by Agent 365. This move aims to cut down administrative workload for employees, allowing them to focus on higher-value, customer-focused activities. This could mean simpler and faster banking for customers.
