Mavenir & Red Hat: Integrated AI for Telecom Operators

Mavenir and Red Hat have launched an Integrated AI Platform to help network operators become AI service providers. This platform allows operators to monetize AI similar to how they monetize data, using token-based consumption plans. The platform offers sovereign on-premises AI, operator-built small language models, and controlled access to advanced models. It also includes zero-trust AI security, all on a unified token charging and service assurance system. This means operators can brand their own AI services, power their AI grid deployments, or offer managed AI capabilities to businesses. What's interesting is how it operates across three models. Operators can use it for their subscribers, as an AI infrastructure layer, or as a managed platform for enterprise customers. The system lets operators control which models handle requests, who pays, and how it's billed. This gives operators a new way to generate revenue from the growing AI services market.
