Meta's Muse Spark 1.1: AI Coding Model Challenges Rivals

Meta has launched Muse Spark 1.1, an AI model designed for coding and agentic tasks. This new model is available through a public preview of the Meta Model API. What's interesting is Meta's aggressive pricing strategy. New API accounts receive $20 in free credits, then pay $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens. Meta's chief AI officer, Alexandr Wang, calls this pricing "very aggressive and attractive" when compared to other offerings. Muse Spark 1.1 shows major gains in coding, tool use, and computer use. It can actively manage a 1 million token context window for extended coding and agentic workflows.
