AI company Midjourney is entering the wellness sector with a new spa concept. The flagship Midjourney Spa is set to open in San Francisco at the end of 2027. This 24,000 square foot facility will offer classic spa experiences, a gym, fitness studio, and touchless longevity treatments. Central to the concept are Midjourney Scanners, which will take 3D maps of guests' bodies in 60 seconds using ultrasonic technology while they are in a pool. The company aims to have over 50,000 scanners worldwide by 2031. The goal is to help guests track their health and encourage preventative behaviors. Midjourney believes this early imaging could avoid 30 percent of all deaths and 50 percent of healthcare costs. This could change how we approach personal health monitoring and preventative care.
