Midjourney, known for turning text into surreal images, has revealed a full-body scanner. This device lowers users through an ultrasound ring for fast body maps, and the company plans to house it in its own spas. The Midjourney Scanner uses underwater ultrasonic sensors to image the full body in just 60 seconds. Its founder, David Holz, states it rivals an MRI's detail in a fraction of the time. The machine was built with ultrasound-chip maker Butterfly Network. The first Midjourney Spa is set to open in 2027 in San Francisco's Union Square, combining about 10 scanners with saunas, cold plunges, and hot tubs.
