Morphisec AIUC: Securing Shadow AI & Sanctioned AI

Morphisec announces the general availability of AI Usage Control, or AIUC. This new practice discovers and governs every AI tool, autonomous agent, and machine identity operating inside an organization. It's enforced where the AI actually executes. What's interesting is that it answers three key questions for security teams: which AI is running, whose identity is driving it, and what that AI is allowed to touch. Morphisec's AIUC works across Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints. It runs within the Morphisec Protector, meaning customers don't need a new agent or complex setup. This tool addresses a critical gap. Enterprise AI adoption has outpaced security controls, and many existing governance tools only monitor network traffic. However, much of the riskiest AI runs locally, often with unaudited credentials and unscoped permissions. The bottom line is that 51% of organizations already use AI agents in production, and this new solution aims to secure these deployments against growing risks like unauthorized shadow AI.
