NIELIT & Intel: Agentic AI Skilling for 1 Crore Youth

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, or NIELIT, has teamed up with Intel India for a new Agentic AI Skilling Program. This initiative aims to train one crore young people in advanced artificial intelligence. What's interesting is the program focuses on Agentic AI, which can think, plan, and perform complex tasks independently. This means these AI agents can browse the web, write code, and work with other digital tools. The program offers two specialized tracks: "Agentic AI for Everyone" and "Engineering Agentic AI Systems." Training will happen through NIELIT centers and its Virtual Academy. The bottom line is this collaboration seeks to equip young people with essential AI skills for future employability.
