Nutanix Boosts Hybrid Cloud for Agentic AI

Nutanix is enhancing its cloud platform for production agentic AI. The company is adding new inference, governance, Kubernetes, and multitenancy capabilities. These aim to help build, run, and secure AI agents across hybrid environments. The Nutanix Cloud Platform now features a dual-native architecture with a new Model Context Protocol, or MPC, agent gateway. Nutanix also unveiled Enterprise AI 2.8, which offers centralized control for AI inference and agentic AI. Nutanix Kubernetes Platform 2.19 is also new, designed to streamline container management and includes an AI catalog for agentic AI applications. These enhancements address the growing use of AI, where agents run on CPUs and GPUs. The goal is to provide a consistent way to govern, monitor, and operate these solutions. This matters because it offers businesses more control and visibility over their AI operations and costs.
