OpenAI: Free GPT 5.6 Luna, ChatGPT Upgrades for Malaysia

OpenAI has announced that free and Go users in Malaysia can now access unlimited text chats through GPT 5.6 Luna. This update is expected to roll out sometime this week. Plus subscribers also get an upgrade with the improved GPT 5.6 Sol model for USD 20 monthly. This new model reduces factual errors by 68% and includes a reasoning slider. Free users of GPT 5.6 Luna will see a 62% reduction in factual errors compared to the previous GPT 5.5 Instant. The updated Sol model allows paid users to adjust reasoning effort using a response slider. There's also a "Think" button for complex prompts. OpenAI has also expanded safety guardrails for users under 18, restricting certain types of content and directing teens to real-world support. This means more access and improved accuracy for many users.
