OpenAI has started rolling out GPT-6 Astra, which they describe as their most intelligent model yet. This new model will first go to a small number of organizations, then to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise accounts. What's interesting is its ability to perform tasks on a computer like a human. Astra can fill out web forms, update CRM information, organize calendars, and even install software. In one test, Astra scored 72.6 percent on a task, completing it in about 40 minutes, which is 47 percent faster than a previous model. Astra can also design circuit boards, build buildings in Blender, and create sceneries in Unreal Engine. It can even help with common tasks like finding a pediatrician or researching a cat-sitter, significantly reducing the time these tasks take. For example, a job search that once took five hours can now be finished in under three minutes. The bottom line is that this new model aims to automate complex computer-based tasks, potentially changing how many jobs are performed.
