The goal is to help users understand lab results, monitor health, and prepare for medical consultations. ChatGPT Health is available across all user levels, from Free to Pro, on both web and iOS. Free users will access the GPT-5.5 Instant model, while paying customers get GPT-5.6 Sol, both designed for understanding complex health information. OpenAI states that connected medical records, Apple Health data, and conversations using this information will not be used to train AI models. The company also implemented extra encryption for health data. The service is designed as a support tool, not a replacement for medical professionals.
