OpenAI Slashes ChatGPT Prices 80% After Kimi K3's Rise

These new prices make them cheaper than Kimi K3, which costs $3 per million input tokens. Kimi K3 has matched the performance of some advanced models but at a lower cost. OpenAI is also introducing a fast mode for its GPT-5.6 Sol model. This offers up to 2.5 times the speed for double the price. OpenAI is also making its models more efficient, with GPT-5.6 Sol now having 20% lower serving costs.
