The Palo Alto-based company is offering new security capabilities to monitor AI agents across cloud infrastructure, SaaS environments, and enterprise applications. Autodesk is an early customer, using the platform to secure AI agents across its workforce, products, and infrastructure. Sebastian Goodwin, chief trust officer at Autodesk, says Permiso helps them discover agents, maintain a full registry, and monitor all events and tool calls. Traditional identity platforms often struggle with the dynamic nature of AI agents, which can make autonomous decisions and interact with sensitive systems at machine speed. Permiso's platform focuses on real-time visibility, inventorying AI agents, mapping their tool usage, and monitoring for unusual behavior. This matters because as AI agents become more prevalent, securing them is a critical new challenge for businesses.
