Researchers have launched a new physics-focused AI model after declining an offer to join the Bezos-backed Project Prometheus. Accelerated Understanding Inc., founded by Anima Anandkumar and Benedikt Jenik, unveiled this new system. What's interesting is that during tests, their model processed 5 trillion pieces of data in a single prompt. This scale is about 5 million times larger than what typical flagship models from other companies handle. The founders state their system aims to predict physical processes across space and time, rather than focusing on language understanding.
