Pony.ai Launches PonyWorld 2.0: L4 Driverless Training Upgrade

Pony.ai has launched PonyWorld 2.0, an upgraded training system for its L4 driverless technology. This new system adds self-diagnosis, targeted data collection, and more efficient training for challenging scenarios. Pony.ai says PonyWorld 2.0 is already in use across its L4 driverless fleet and research and development pipeline. Dr. Tiancheng Lou, Founder and CTO of Pony.ai, states that PonyWorld 2.0 is a significant step towards a more self-improving approach to autonomous driving. The company has also expanded its fleet from 270 to over 1,400 vehicles, with a target of more than 3,000 vehicles by year-end.
