Rapidus & Cadence Partner on Agentic AI for SoC Design

Rapidus Corporation and Cadence Design Systems have partnered to advance agentic AI for advanced-node system-on-chip design. They are integrating Cadence's InnoStack AI Super Agent into the Rapidus AI-Agentic Design Solution, known as Raads. This collaboration aims to improve productivity, accelerate time to market, and enhance design quality across the SoC design lifecycle. Rapidus is targeting up to a two-times improvement in design turnaround time over traditional methods. What's interesting is that this partnership combines Rapidus's AI-native design and manufacturing ecosystem with Cadence's agentic AI design orchestration technology. Rapidus is also introducing Raads Navigator and Raads Indicator to enhance quality assurance. The new tools are integrated with the Cadence InnoStack AI Super Agent to automate and coordinate tasks from early architectural exploration through implementation and signoff. This integration is designed to help teams manage advanced-node complexity and scale engineering productivity.
