Robinhood AI Trading: Connect ChatGPT for Stocks Now

Robinhood has launched a new beta product allowing users to connect third-party AI agents for autonomous stock trading. This feature, called Agentic Trading, lets AI systems like those built on Claude or ChatGPT manage dedicated brokerage accounts. Right now, it's available to Robinhood's 27 million funded customers for equities only. What's interesting is that support for options, crypto, and futures is planned for the future. Users create a separate account for the AI, distinct from their main portfolio, and deposit funds directly into it. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev emphasized making sophisticated automation accessible to everyday investors. However, users are fully responsible for the outcomes, as Robinhood does not supervise or guarantee the AI's performance. This development could change how many people approach investing.
